Slump test apparatus as per IS: 1199,7320 and BS 1881 It is used for determination of the consistency of concrete, where the nominal maximum size of aggregate does not exceed 38mm. This test can be carried out either in the laboratory or during the progress of work in the field. This test method is intended to provide the user with a procedure to determine slump of plastic hydraulic cement concrete.
Graduated tamping rod 60cm long X 16mm dia. with graduation 0-30 cm in 5MM interval, rounded at one end.
1. Slump cone 100mm inside dia.
2. At the top,200mm inside dia.
3. At the base and 300mm high in the form of the frustrum of a cone with handles to facilitate vertical direction.
4. Heavy duty base plate with clamp arrangement for slump cone, swivel handle which also serves as the datum for measuring the slump and to which a vertical metallic rod is attached with a suitable guide attachment to measure the slump.
